Re: Feature Request as seen in this video
Bit of a case of ready-shoot-aim as the feature request I was asking for is already a feature of the PE website that I hadnt discovered yet. "You can see your current strip if you go to the online map: http://map.pilotedge.net by clicking on your aircraft. If you check that shortly before picki...

Feature Request as seen in this video
https://youtu.be/U3EgEYprf2A So in the beginning of this video the guy files a flight plan using foreflight then goes over to flight tracker to get his route prior to calling atc as so copying his clearance goes smoothly. Can this be done with PE when we file and have the routes show up on a PE web ...

Feature request: Switchable In and outputs
So PE operates independently of the sound settings on the PC correct? The user sets the choice of output for sound and input for recording in the preference settings. I'm a VR user and I like to go in and out of the "hood" as to where I dont wear the VR all the time. I have all my Sim soun...

My IFR setup
https://i.imgur.com/tDxQQmSh.jpg I normally dont use the GTN750 iPad setup connected via DUET when simming as I like the option to pop in and out of VR. However, yesterday I wanted to do some "intense" IFR flying out of Yakima KYKM. I picked that place because of all the various DPs and A...

Re: What is the best wat Starting IFR communication
Thanks Kevin. I hadnt ever noticed that existed. Happily the owner of that now and looking forward to receiving my spiral bound book. That thing is like the new testament to the FAR AIM as a bible goes.Kevin_atc wrote:You can even take it a step further and purchase the IFR communications manual

Re: Who is using Foreflight?
Semi-related, but I use Garmin Pilot for both real and sim flights. Same here. By using it in the sim since I dont fly in RL all that often, it keeps me current on the app and allows me to really unlock and discover all the best ways to use it as a EFB. Could not imagine using PE without it either....

Re: Rule of thumb for uncontrolled best radio freq to use
Thanks Keith that was the answer I was looking for and agree about using RW freq to be the best option.
