Re: Sending login info.......
Turned out that while I had a mic "connected", it was not being recognized by windows or PE evidently. Running the Windows recording device utility did the trick, I'm back up.

Re: Sending login info.......
I managed to get connected but am still getting an "error connecting to server: 519". I changed some setting in my virus software to make PE a "trusted" site which seems to have improved my dilemma. I've been monitoring tower and clearance and am hearing nada.. Anybody have any m...

Re: Sending login info.......
I unchecked the 'pause on task' switch. My previous system also had that unchecked. No joy on the going back and forth between the apps though. Still hanging...

Sending login info.......
I've been using PE for a few weeks and recently upgraded to a new computer. I have FSX installed and running fine, followed by all my favorite planes and extras, REX, TrackIR and FSXFlight and then PE. Upon trying to connect tonight it got stuck on "Sending login info", the software eventu...

Re: V2 Rating - Departure Route
Another question on the V-2. When departing on Rwy 19L and given a heading to 330, a right turn (the shortest route) would put you crossing the upwind of Rwy 19R. Is it expected that this is what you should do without additional guidance to turn left instead? I'm not very experienced with parallel r...

Re: Retrieving correct ATIS
Awesome feedback guys. I'm hooked just from the debriefing aspect of PE. Multiple, knowledgeable controllers, pilots and instructors chiming in with valuable info and logical explanations that most pilots won't ever get to hear! Where can you get that in the real world?.. not with my overbooked cfii...

Re: Retrieving correct ATIS
It could be that the rant wasn't intended for me. I guess I have a guilty conscience.. :? I recall reporting the ATIS to clearance at SNA(This was the V-2 rating). Did not report it to either ground or tower since I'm sure ground doesn't care, and tower coordinates with approach on my departure(mayb...

Retrieving correct ATIS
I'm a real world pilot with an instrument rating and tonight I completed the V-2 rating(wading in to get familiar..). Approaching KONT the tower seemed to reprimand me and several others for not having the actual ATIS code. I'm using ForeFlight and REX so I have real world weather x2, but it is my u...
