Re: Linux+Wine not too stable :/

Ahh very nice, my linux box has much more power than the macbook pro. The latter isn't much fun anymore. For what it's worth I seemed to be getting crashes by changing frequencies on the linux+wine config. Running it without logging into pilotedge didn't give me any problems, just in case that may p...

Linux+Wine not too stable :/

Well I guess this is anything but supported but I tried to run X-Plane windows version using Wine on my linux box since the graphics card is much better than on my macbook. I'm not sure if it was X-Plane + wine or if it was the vspro plugin but at random times trying to adjust the frequency it would...

Re: considering a 'frequent flier' program

I'm guessing you might be able to get some quality people if it's by invitation only. That way you can recruit when you need it and there is no expectation from the users to do something and wonder why they can't be part of the FF program. That way you get the quality you want, the amount you need a...

Bummed [Sun Mar 27]

Hey guys, I'm so bummed I missed the flight on Sunday. Lets just call it a bedtime behavioral emergency ;) Looked like it would have been an amazing opportunity to practice some low IFR flying. How did it go. It did prompt a thought though, would any flights be willing to artificially agree to a low...

Re: [Dec 19, 1830mst] KTUS KLAX

Sorry fellas,

I wasn't able to participate last night, just too much Christmas stress, (Lets just say hole in the ceiling ok). I'll work on logging in in the near future.

Friday Night Airports?

Any announcement of focus airports for Friday, or are we starting to use the "Fly with me" forums to coordinate flights during beta times?

Re: [Dec 17, Fri 6pm PST] KSFO - KLAS - KGCN

Well in keeping with my dual usage of this service as beta tester and something to keep my IFR skills in a piston aircraft sharp I may try and set up a flight that will hopefully intercept you guys on the way to LAS.

Re: server status 10/16

Is this something that only privileged people would know how to do? I'm pretty sure I would notice a CTAF not working outside of online hours, but drones are kinda few a far between at times anyway.
