Re: Helicopters in Traffic Pattern

Thanks! Seems counter intuitive. I wish this would have been addressed in my flight training:)

At my home airport we fly the standard left hand traffic pattern. While I was preparing to depart a couple of helicopters showed up to do some pattern work. One ...

I-08 Question

The I-08 requires you to depart from Avalon which is non towered. In the real world I would use the cell phone to call for my clearance. What is the procedure on PE to get your clearance from a non towered airport? Thanks!

For instance, after proceeding direct to Seal Beach VOR from KSNA and trying to join the V3 airway I blow...

Re: [Sun, Nov 6] First post-launch event!

I was reviewing the route for pistons from SMO to SAN and I can't find the V63 airway. Should we use V23 perhaps?

Aircraft ICAO Code Question

I have been flying a Piper Archer, in real life and on PilotEdge, and using the code PA28 (the model number) when asked for my aircraft type for VFR flight following both on the network and real world flying. When I log onto the network I also use PA28 for the aircraft type. When I completed my flig...

Re: Xplane plugin v0.7.1 released

I have a question I am embarrased to ask. How do I upgrade the plugin? Do I just drag and drop and tell windows to replace the old files with the new ones?
