Re: 1st PE Airshow/Fly In! June 13th 2015 1530 PST
The fly-in would be more realistic instead of just popping up. Oh and this is just me, but I think he means FRENCH VALLEY (F70). Aqua Dulce (L70) is surrounded by mountains. He was talking about doing a 734 demonstration and others B17 B25 etc. I guess doing it around the mountains would be fun, how...

Re: One and only one fse aircraft
Oh good choice! I though abut the JS32, but it still is limited to going anywhere, like the 208.

Re: Need help with flight planning
I agree! When planning flights on FSE to fly on PE, from those airports, it might be a good idea to fly IFR if you are not sure of the surrounding terrain such as the Sierra Nevada you mentioned. Although it may take longer due to the routing that the controller on delivery gives you it keeps you at...

Re: One and only one fse aircraft
I would have to agree on the Caravan being the most efficient! However the Baron has it's perks and certainly it can eat less fuel making the fuel bill less. Keith I am not familiar with the MU-2, but if I know what plane your talking about it may be better than the Caravan in range and capacity. If...

Re: [May 28, Thursday 2000 PDT] KSNA Fly-In
Nice approach picture! I had fun flying the good ole' Baron in this event. The event was a smasher and I intend to attend the next one. Unfortunately I was unable to finish the flight due to real life circumstances. All is well though! I went with my family to meet somewhere with my brother, so good...

Re: Aircraft Equipment Suffix
Thanks for the clarification! I generally like to use /A myself in small GA aircraft, such as the 172, Baron, Cherokee etc. Getting involved with doing the ratings again that PE provides has been real helpful in my aviation training. Keith thank you also for posting the link of the suffix's. I'll re...

Re: KSNA Fly-In : Confessions from the Cockpit
That flight sounded pretty fun and also busy. However, if 60 planes are on, well who wouldn't be busy. Do you know what your roll rate was on 20L? About flying and implementing a landing contest, that sounds like a really fun time. Would that be an event?
