Re: PilotEdge voice initialization error

Just to note, I also get a "Voice Disabled" notification when I log in to PilotEdge in X-Plane 11 as well.

PilotEdge voice initialization error

I just re-activated my account now that I have P3Dv4 up and running... I have installed the latest PE client, but when I run the application I get the following voice initialization error (sorry for the large image sizes): https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/G-ZDo8LuQOFN201QYor_aAaJ1klhJpWVDTO-mwXtT3o...

Re: Western US Upgrade v2 Roadmap

Just wanted to say thank you, both for the expansion plans and also for setting up a stand-alone subscription option for WUS. Consistent sim performance has always been a real challenge in large portions of ZLA for me, especially in P3D; WUS opens up a much better performing set of options in terms ...

Re: CTD when loading flight with XP11pb8 & PilotEdge plugin

Thanks Shawn! Yeah, prior to this crash my XP10 copy was also crashing, which was weird. I ended up uninstalling XP10, which was probably a premature overreaction on my part but at least now I know I wasn't crazy! - it makes sense that xEnviro was the common factor. Only thing is that I was still ha...

Re: CTD when loading flight with XP11pb8 & PilotEdge plugin

I jumped the gun - removing PilotEdge didn't fix the problem. Even removed all of my other 3rd-party plugins and getting the same crash. Only thing that fixes it is to load a flight with the Stinson, and then switch to one of the other aircraft. I haven't added PE back in yet, but I am presuming now...

CTD when loading flight with XP11pb8 & PilotEdge plugin

I am getting a crash to desktop in XP11 public beta 8 when trying to load a flight with the PilotEdge plugin installed in the appropriate folder. This occurs when trying to load flight, right after you get the "Done with Pre-loading" message. When I remove the PilotEdge plugin, there is no...

Re: No squackbox transponder widget

Was this resolved for anyone? I just started having the same problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling PIlotEdge, but the widget is no longer present. The biggest problem is when I need to Ident, I have to open a couple of menu screens on the PE client to do it, which is kind of tough when...

Arriving at KEMT from N or W of Burbank airspace (VFR)

A question for how best to navigate the airspace around Burbank/Van Nuys/Whiteman from west or north to the east: If one is flying in to El Monte from north or west of Burbank with VFR advisories, what is the best way to plan the descent in to the airfield? Assume this is not with a high-performance...

Re: Questions re: Charlie transition Ontario from Corona

Thank you for the feedback! Yes, you are absolutely correct that climbing eastbound first to get above and out of the way of the airspace would be a preferred and much simpler option. I would need the altitude anyway to get above the mountains heading northbound. I am going to try the flight again, ...
