Question about practicing ILS procedures?
If I wanted to practice shooting ILS approaches at John Wayne, how would I go about asking the controller? Should I just announce that I would like to takeoff and practice a particular ILS procedure?

Thanks! I had a great time last night too. I had some pattern issues last night and flew the wrong direction. 
I had a hard time hearing the instructions because the rain sound was so loud. Great time though!
