Yeah I figured it wasnt. Just seemed like a cool place to do some turn arounds and practice. Such a beautiful airport!!Peter Grey wrote:It's possible in the sense that ATC will allow it (using either runway with 15 preferred), it's not possible as Scott mentions in the sense of "traffic patterns".

Pattern work at KASE?
I have always loved this airport. Such a unique airport with departures on one end of the runway and arrivals on the other. I have seen some great videos with planes taking off and climbing out above those landing. One question though....is it possible to do pattern work at KASE? It seems unlikely w...

Re: Realistic Sounding ATC...Reviving old topic
OK I figured out how to filter incoming ATC audio to make it sound reasonably real, and also provide adjustable microphone side tone, with a few free "minimal" versions of tools. If anyone is interested post back and I will write it up. I think I could also filter the microphone audio but...

Re: Realistic Sounding ATC...Reviving old topic
Awesome, thanks Keith! That intercom looks great. I just need to invest in some aviation headsets now! I wish I still have my Dave Clarks from my air force days. Just a quick question. The virtual audio cable here: https://www.vb-audio.com/Cable/ If I install this along with a virtual guitar distort...

Realistic Sounding ATC...Reviving old topic
I know there were a few old topics dating back several years on how to have realistic sounding incoming voice from the PE Network. With windows 10 and all the new virtual programs out there, has anyone figured out a way to have PE voice sound more staticky? I saw virtual audio cable was still around...

Re: Geekiest PE feature request...ever
just reviving an old thread to see if there are any new ideas? I Hear some pilots and even one controller who sounds very much like they are on a VHF receiver. Sounds great!! Do any of the guitar effect virtual software programs work? I am not so much looking for myself to sound like static but the ...

Re: Titan X is out!
well shipment was delayed a day but finally got my hands on it and will be plugging it in tonight. I already have the original titan and from a single GPU perspective there really hasnt been one to come out until now that would be worth the extra money for minimal gains. The gains on the titan x (es...

How to get a realistic sounding radio transmission?
I notice on the network some guys it actually sounds like they are on a VHF radio. When they call in you can hear a static"y" sound with their transmission as if they are actually transmitting wirelessly. Is there a way to simulate this affect on the sound cards so that when I hear transmi...
