Re: Offshore 9 - WAMMY
From what I can tell though, WAMMY is identified with a radial and DME - 33 DME on the PYE 151 radial. I'd tend to agree with the point about disregarding, but I'm just a little confused about the regs here. From what I can tell, there's nothing on the chart itself (apart from the fix not being on t...

Re: Offshore 9 - WAMMY
Hmmm, I'm on AIRAC 1607 and the aircraft was parked at the gate the whole time. It looks like the intercept points is past WAMMY, so the aircraft is trying to loop back, fly over WAMMY, then continue to SENZY. If it's not required that I fly over WAMMY, I would just delete the waypoint. Does WAMMY n...

Offshore 9 - WAMMY
Was just wondering about the Offshore 9 out of KSFO. The DP says that off 28L, after crossing SENZY, you should turn left heading 203, intercept the 151 radial outbound from PYE, then fly to WAMMY then SEGUL. 3 things: 1) The narration actually doesn't even mention WAMMY, it just says intercept the ...

IXEG 737 Hard CTD - CustomSBDatarefs?
For those of you with the IXEG 737 1.0.5, has anyone been getting hard CTDs? I was going through the first tutorial flight and it kept crashing on me right as I turned DCT SLI after OCN. I tried the flight 2 times, and both times it crashed right after I made the turn and started my descent. Both ti...

Re: Palomar airport corrupted
Turner, if you post your log.txt we can try to help you out - otherwise we're completely in the dark with XP (like svilenv said, just load the sim at KCRQ then shut down, the log will be updated). If Palomar is corrupted, I don't think the problem is with KSEA (though technically that's a shot in th...

No-Gyro Approach Questions
So just for fun I've been doing some reading on no-gyro approaches (no instrument training, if you're wondering about the questions I'm about to ask). I'm confused about when a controller is allowed to give a no-gyro approach. Basically the way I understand it is that any controller can give you no-...

Approach Plates - Minima #'s
Just had a quick question about the minima numbers on approach plates (it's been a while...). I've attached a picture below. For things like the S-27 (just pretend we're in a category A or B aircraft), I know the 680 is the minimum descent altitude for a straight in, but I forget what the 50 means? ...

Re: Pilot Edge - FSEconomy
Weren't the com and nav radio failures separated in an XP update for this purpose (think it had something to do with Keith)? Or is that going to be in 10.40 (or not at all)?
