Re: New PE ATIS vs. Sim's ATIS voice

Thanks guys. Yea I heard via Twitch chat that it was cause I was on 11.26. Thankfully the X-PlaneATIS is far less as loud ad the PE voice, so it's not so bad. I'm waiting on 11.32 before I upgrade from 11.26.
Thanks again for adding this new dimension of realism to the sim!

New PE ATIS vs. Sim's ATIS voice

Hi guys,

How do I kill the X-Plane voice reading the ATIS when using PE's new ATIS player? The new PE player sounds great, but I hear my computer's text to speech playing too.

Cleared Direct Albuquerque - Resume the Departure/Own Nav?

Hello everyone, On the evening of 8/3/2018 I was cleared for takeoff out of KABQ. I turned left to 290º while flying the LARGO3 departure, Zuni transition. As I rolled out on 290º, I was told "Clipper 576, cleared direct Albuquerque". I flew direct to ABQ, and as I was within 3 nm I though...

"...Traffic 11 o'clock, 3 miles..." CSL Draw Distance

Hi guys, I run the HD CSLs. I fly with a 40 inch 4K TV monitor, allowing me to see a lot of detail at some distance. When I get a traffic advisory, I think the biggest issue to spotting traffic is that the CSL stops drawing too soon. Occasionally when I have spotted them, I noticed that when I zoom ...

Re: Alphabet Challenge: WUS Edition

I noticed the "hover over" feature to show who completed each leg still shows the names from the ZLA edition?

Totally psyched to get into this, thanks for making it work!

Re: Alphabet Challenge: WUS Edition

Gotcha. Yea if those airports can be added as opposed to changing the route, that would be great since the likelihood of finding close alternates for all those may prove difficult.

If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.

Re: Alphabet Challenge: WUS Edition

EDIT: need to have Tim confirm that PEaware will support all of these destinations As long as it's in the PEaware airport database it'll be fine. If you find any missing, email me and let me know :) I tested and confirmed every airport on the list shows up in the MyFlightRoute.com airport selection...

Re: Alphabet Challenge: WUS Edition

Hello everyone, As mentioned above, I'm posting the following document and link as a potential candidate for the expansion version of the alphabet challenge. Others may have a totally different set of flights that might work out better than what I have put together. Or, maybe combining it with the w...

Re: Alphabet Challenge: WUS Edition

Hi guys, I was curious how far you are in actually mapping it out. I started mapping a set of flights that I planned to share in an attempt to give back to the community as I really enjoyed doing the ZLA version. I am somewhere around the halfway point through the alphabet. I thought when I have it ...

Finally Finished!!!

I finally finished doing all the flights. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed flying over areas I normally might not have. I chose to do all the flights VFR since I had photoscenery (X-Plane) that made navigating by pilotage pleasing and realistic. I have several of the flights uploaded to my YouTube ...
