Re: Question about a drone at Taft-Kern L17

The drones on the network are pre-recorded and NORDO so you sort of have to work around them.

You can see them all here:

Re: questions from prospective user(s)

I flew in the event last Sunday and I am pretty sure I was messing it up for others as I had 30 on the nose and was slower than the other Eclipse jets. I was asked multiple times to verify my speed from the controllers. Also got "maintain best speed" a bunch of times. Sadly I will be force...

Re: [Apr 30 10a-1p] PHX/GCN to PSP then SBA

Nice to see a good Dev like Aerobask get some run here...nice job on getting together for all those CSL's!

I am going to run the Eclipse in this event, with the only real choice for a livery...Flower Power!

Also I assume that is PE local time (PST) right?

Re: ForeFlight integration with FSX! (Free)

Is there something like this I could use with X-Plane via my laptop? Currently I just have the charts open on my laptop next to me while I fly using the PC monitors. Works well enough for my level of flight, but doesn't provide live positioning etc. http://www.fltplan.com/fsx.htm Its free and has g...

Re: Overlaying flight path on IFR charts?

This was mentioned earlier and has what is called geo-referenced charts (similar to ForeFlight but so subscription is required) https://www.fltplan.com/ Cant say enough about it...has all the charts I need for my FSE adventures up in Canada, along with all the sectionals. I use Skyvector for my rout...

I believe you would be better served and faster as well by contacting pe support:

support@pilotedge.net.

I recall a policy on this but I will leave that to them.

Re: Introduction: totally blind flight sim user

Frankly I am very fascinated with the technology and technique that must be employed to be able to fly in a sim blind. Furthermore the ambitious nature of using live ATC in general is daunting, I am very inspired by the notion that you want to take on this challenge.
