Re: Anyone here flying the X-Aviation / JGM Corvalis 400 TT?

When flying, I'll look up weather on ForeFlight on my phone, or call the airport ATIS phone number published on airnav.com to get weather.
It'll be nice to have it working again though. I thought it was just me... :-)

Re: Anyone here flying the X-Aviation / JGM Corvalis 400 TT?

I am. It's the only thing I've flown on PE so far, in fact. I love it!

Re: scaling back the beta

For me, the 3 nights allows a better chance of fitting one night a week into my schedule. If it was on only one night, I couldn't fly in nearly as many weeks. That said, I certainly understand if it's burdensome and not contributing 'beta value' to run 3x a week, and will pretty much fly whenever PE...

Re: XP crash with win.xpl

Well, somewhat unsurprisingly, LR suggested I take the plugins out and see if the crash recurs. ;-) Which is probably what I would've said. Which is great, but I have no way of reproducing... Problem is, I don't really know what PluginAdmin/win.xpl, which is what caused the crash, actually /does/, s...

XP crash with win.xpl

I'm presuming this has nothing to do with PE, but posting here just in case. I also submitted it to LR, not sure if they are able to follow up on individual crash reports or not.

I saved the vspro.* files and log files, if needed. :)

PEaware: ground elevations have returned

Good news! I finally got off my butt and fixed an issue that had been introduced to the vataware codebase about 18 months ago when I moved servers. Ground elevation parsing is now working again (although I fully expect that at least half of the regular users of vataware/PEaware had no idea it was ev...

NORDO

My apologies to AJ & Colin there! Still have no idea what happened, but a network re-connect once I was on the ground fixed it. It was a few minutes of panic for sure. I tried both SBA_APP frequencies, SBA_TWR, and once I got no response on either, flipped the squawk to 7600 (for the first time ...

Re: Floating Aircraft

Hi Keith, No, you're right. I had flipped that setting and then my next restart was when I updated the plugin. That's one thing XP could stand to improve on; not everything that requires a XP restart to become effective is labeled as such. Is there a way for the client plugin to check for the runway...

Re: Floating Aircraft

I fixed it... turns out I forgot the #1 rule of betas and had not updated my plugin version in awhile. All is well now!
