"Southern Tower, Carbondale 191F is 10 miles northeast at 2,400 with information Foxtrot."
"Carbondale 191F, I'm proud of you."
That was it. The student then realized that he was missing a crucial piece of information - their intentions!

Re: Pattern work in the 737?
Hey there, RW SoCal pilot checking in! I've seen everything from 737s to A330s to the 787-9 at SBD before and I know for a fact that one of the cargo companies used to take their 747s to BFL to do pattern work. Try those two, they're both good options!

That sounds like fun! If I have the time and money, I'll come up from Southern Illinois and fly a leg or two with you - but those are both big "ifs."

Re: Sidewinder route. Who knew?
That was really cool to watch. I've thought of flying up to Bishop or Kern sometime, I'll have to keep an eye out for these guys if I do. The video also makes me wonder what the rules are for military aircraft in an MOA in regard to cloud clearances, VFR/IFR, etc. I would assume they're free to do a...

KABQ Scenery?
In light of Sunday's beta-testing event, I'm beginning my process of planning and downloads to be ready. Has anyone found any good scenery for X-Plane 10 that includes the Albuquerque airport? The most recent scenery I have found for it is from 2009. Thanks!

Re: traffic pattern question
Nope, it would be left traffic for Runway 4. If it were right traffic for Runway 4, there would also be a "RP 4" listed under the airport on the Sectional/TAC/WAC. It is assumed that left traffic patterns are to be made whenever it isn't specified.
