BigJetTV London Flypast RAF Centenary

I've not seen reference to BigJetTv here before. Hope this is allowed! They have Patreon funded 'airliner' videoshoots twice weekly mainly at UK airfields so far. (It's £4 or $5 per month for everything.) Today's London rooftop coverage of the RAF's 100 flypast was freeview and well worth 15 minutes...

Re: American 2442 Pilot Deviation

Thanks Bob
I'll give this a try myself later.
Just out of interest which transition were you flying - or where did you depart from?
One would assume that switching runways before Hawk should be sufficient for the FMC to adapt without throwing its dummy out of the pram! ;)
Cheers

Re: Newcomers' question

Hi and welcome. When I was starting out on Pilotedge I spent a lot of time sitting (with the handbrake carefully applied) listening and watching. The best introduction is to watch some of the Youtube videos - CAT 1 etc. Then connect and try it. No one will be irritated if you are a little green at f...

Re: American 2442 Pilot Deviation

Hi Bob I fly the 717 from time to time in P3dV4 and have not experienced problems since the V4 version became available. Presume you have tried turning down settings, clouds, and their Trueglass and the other special feature (memory slips me)? I had very poor framerates when this came out (before V4...

Re: Cat 10 miniroute question

I'm sure someone else will give a more detailed answer but I have many happy memories of orbiting south of the Bravo border near Hawthorne!
A slower aircraft is often an advantage in cases like this.
Cheers.

Re: MD 80 auto thrust CLMP mode

Thanks Jim.

Brilliant information.

I’ve spent the last 2 weeks on short MD80 hops around WUS. DAL 8082.

Just wondering which button feeds the hamsters?

Cheers

Re: Should I really be using pilotedge

Classy operation!
You want to hear it in 7 hours time when I’m guessing well over 50 pilots will be online racing to Vegas for a weekend of fun.

Re: long Distance Flight

Another option once you’re at cruise altitude would be to ask controller for permission to use 2 times time acceleration until Top of Descent. My available simming time is often limited so flying at 2 times in the cruise can save quite a lot of idle time without causing too much loss of experience. ...

Re: Callsign Query

Further to the above please confirm I have this correct? I currently fly occasionally with a virtual airline Worldwide Virtual Airlines. This apparently is not registered with Pilotedge. I don't think this is a problem because on your ICAO list there is Worldwide Jet Charter ICAO Code WWI, based in ...
