Re: Arrow masquerading as a Debonair, calling itself a Bonan
Thank you, good idea. I modified it to a BE33. I went ahead an up'd the HP to 225. It still doesn't fly like the Debbie, but it will do nicely for IFR practice.

Arrow masquerading as a Debonair, calling itself a Bonanza
I'm a real world pilot and owner of a Beechcraft B33 Debonair. When flying real world, although I would prefer to use Debonair, I call myself a Bonanza when talking to ATC. When calling myself Debonair, half the real world controllers call me Bonanza anyway and it gets confusing. I am working on my ...

Re: Garmin Pilot
Yes, I agree, If I were a real pilot, I would buy an iPad just for ForeFlight. I should have called on my audience more specifically. If you are strictly a sim pilot, and already have android hardware, you should try Garmin Pilot before spending money on an iPad. It has greatly helped me with situat...

Garmin Pilot
I just wanted to take a second and bring some attention to Garmin Pilot. I don't think there is much doubt that ForeFlight is better, but if you are already heavily invested in Android, or are allergic to Apples, Garmin Pilot is a close second. (Garmin pilot also runs of iPad) With the latest releas...

Re: Let's talk about the PilotEdge Expansion!
Is there any non-binding, legally deniable guestimation about when the expansion is going to take place? Status?

Re: X-plane purchase questions
I have both versions... Steam is nice because it does auto update and because aircraft and scenery often go on sale. Down side is that you always have to be online to prevent people from sharing a copy. Steam is usually a few days behind on updates. Digital Download also requires an occasional onlin...

Re: Tail dragger Fly in...any interest?
I would participate in a tail dragger fly in... The Carenado C185F would be a great addition to the CLS collection. I think another fun idea would be a Float plane fly in: I don't suppose there are any controlled Seaplane bases in PE... The Carenado C185F with the bush extension pack would also be a...

Removing Edwards corrected the 'San Andreas' problem for me as well. THANK YOU for posting this!

Thence....
I'm not a pilot, but I've been a simulator enthusiast since my first Apple IIc in 1984. I've sim'ed on and off my entire life, but only recently got back into it using X-plane. PE has opened a whole new world to me personally and I learn something evey time I 'fly' there. Last nights lesson was: If ...

Re: HD CSLs now available
once the CSLs ae installed into the PE CSL Folder, will the liveries be used to display other aircraft in the vicinity at my local X-Plane display, That one. I'm not sure what a '3d livery' is. A livery is a set of 2d textures that are used to represent a specific paint job for a model. The process...
