I went ahead and tried it the other night and it automatically entered /G.
Thanks for the reply.

Simbrief Equipment Type and PreFile
Wondering if the default simbrief equipment type and the profile option is compatible with PE. For instance.... In Simbrief - default settings for my Baron 58, the ATC flight plan shows the following: -BE58/L-SDFGRY/C If I wasn't using Simbrief I would file slant Golf. My question is will PE system ...

XP11 Approach and Autopilot Not Getting Along
Has anyone else had the issue of the Xplane 11 autopilot going wonky when you try and select either new waypoints (not the next one) and/ or load an approach and have the A/P start going all wonky? I try to remember to switch to HDG whenever I am pulling up new waypoints (again, not the next waypoin...

Re: Jet Departure Altitudes
Thanks for the explanations and advice. No worries Keith, didn't consider it preachy at all. In fact, the time you spend in the detailed response is greatly appreciated. I was looking for general ideas of altitude assignments (jet vs props) rather than a specifics - sorry if I didn't explain that be...

Jet Departure Altitudes
I am wondering about initial IFR altitude clearances for jets on departure.... I am not looking to do this any time soon. I am currently flying a fairly slow turbine to work through my IFR procedures and skills. However, I fly a Challenger 300 (DDENN design) with an X-Plane stock FMS (not interested...
