Re: MSFS 2020

It's unclear what market their sim is targeting or what integration capabilities will exist. It certainly lowers the barrier for entry, which means there will likely be a huge contingent of brand new users who are just tipping their toes in the aviation waters. That is fantastic as a tool for build...

Re: Exercises in Airspace

What a great idea. Excellent exercises. I'm not sure how the challenges could be "graded" as pass/fail though with no ATC communication and squawking 1200. File a VFR flight plan; then it'll show up on PEAware. Although the default PEAware map doesn't show airspaces and the like; you'd pr...

Re: Engine Failure During my I-6 Checkride

I'm curious about that mod. A2A airplanes are 'aggressively realistic'. They're a bit exaggerated (IMHO), perhaps because they put so much work into developing all of these failure models and if it was closer to real world (where failures are rare in practice), then nobody would ever get to use it! ...

Scenery for ZLA?

Hello friends! I only have a subscription to the ZLA portion of PilotEdge and don't currently have plans to upgrade (To be honest, PilotEdge developed a love of stick and rudder slow piston VFR flying around SoCal!) I'm looking for scenery that is at least accurate (I'm running P3D V4, and some runw...
