Prepar3D advice

Howdy, I have been checking out the youtube videos of Prepar3D and I have a few questions I'm hoping someone might be able to answer: Is the flight model better than X-Plane? Currently I struggle sometimes with the flight model/control inputs in X-Plane.. and the autopilot sometimes does odd things....

thanks for all of the advice and clarity. I've just started dipping my toes into IFR as a way to prepare myself for training and sometimes I feel like I'm in the deep end of the pool!

Edit: I read the link attached which explains this route. I see where I made my mistake.

I have a 27" Acer touch screen as my lower monitor and running the virtual cockpit I can use the touch screen to manipulate the controls. However changing frequencies can be a chore and I usually opt to use the mouse for that. Also turn of screen shake... It makes it really hard.
