If you check out UniversRadio or Simple Radio that are used in DCS mulitplayer. You will hear a radio effect but the transmission is crystal clear. A similar plugin would add a dimension of realism. I've had issues similar to Jon. Lately, while preparing on the ramp, I've had to disconnect/reconnect a few times in order to establish comms. I didn't have that problem until recently. I've been flying on PE since the middle of December and strictly using XP11.

I very, very impressed.....and inspired.

Take a look at xEnviro. Don't let the price turn you off, it takes the place of Real Weather Connector as well...so it's two pieces of software. It's much more realistic in that you can get what appears to be horizon to horizon coverage rather than the bubble of clouds that surround you with Skymaxx.
