Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes

Was performing the I-2, was going great until I got the visual for 24, it was a fairly busy night so I "assumed" the controller was busy and just needed to unload a little bit. until I found out on short final she was waiting for me to ask for the ILS for 24 lol. Oh well, live and learn.

Re: CAT6 and MOAs

Gotta have permission with ATC. Usually its no big deal, they will usually clear you to enter the restricted. However it does become a pain when the president is at camp david and P-40 (prohibited) gets extended which you will not get cleared through. I am still terrified this is going to happen to ...

CAT-10 hairs lost

Just passed my CAT-10, had amazing controllers that were on it today and got me transferred fairly quick. However, I must say the mini-route might be one of the most stressful things I've done in the sim skies, the amount of frequency transfers in the amount of time is CRAZY. Definitely had my heart...

Re: Today Was The Day

Aaah that's a bummer, when I got my PPL my parents made me pay for all of my flight training myself, I was in high school at the time, so I could only work part time. Well lets just put it this way, I completed my check ride in 46 hours, but it took me well over a year because I could blow a whole m...

Re: some nice feedback...

I second the controllers on PE. I was doing my CAT-5 about 5 minutes ago. I have a PPL IRL but haven't flown in a long time. While 15 NM out of meadows, I either missed my frequency change, or the controller was busy and hadn't gotten to me. Not wanting to violate airspace I decided to do an orbit o...

Testament to PE

Hello Everyone, I am new to the community, I just joined PE last week, and been loving every minute of the CAT program. Just a little information about myself, I got my PPL 8 years ago when I was in high school, went to college and didn't have money to fly so I had to put it on the back burner (prio...

Re: Today Was The Day

Congratulations bud! Did you get your shirt tail signed?

I'm actually surprised you just soloed, I watch your YouTube videos all the time, I would've figured you have soloed a long time ago with your ability to fly the airplane!
