The 'helicopters' info wasn't in the normal places that I look when planning a flight either but I did find it on SkyVector under the LA Tower communications section > https://skyvector.com/airport/LAX/Los-Angeles-International-Airport . I am still planning with a mixture of SkyVector and Foreflight...

I am cleared to 'Enter right base, cleared to land'.
Q. How do I enter the pattern?
A. At a 45 degree to right base
B. Straight in on base heading
C. Join the downwind at 45 degrees for right base?

I have always thought that you need to either fly odd/even altitudes for IFR and odd/even +500 ft for VFR flights.
