No Radio or Comms - Support requested

First, let me say that I love PE. I'm in the 2nd year of my subscription and X-plane just wouldn't be the same without it. It's X-plane's best add-on. I could go on... After upgrading to client 1.5.3 I haven't been able to get comms (1 or 2). I've tried removing the lastest PE client 1.5.3 and going...

PilotEdge Receiver Sound Output

I get a kick out of monitoring the PilotEdge network via the Pilotedge receiver. However, whenever I use my Oculus VR headset, which is rarely because I can't read the instruments as well (and I get motion sickness occasionally), the PE receiver change the sound output to the Oculus headset. This se...

Re: Pilotedge Community

Thanks for the feedback. I particularly appreciate the link to the conversation that has similar suggestions regarding the controllers, and; I did appreciate teh Leadership Bios at https://www.pilotedge.net/pages/leadership-and-corporate-info. Maybe one day, we'll be able to put faces with the aweso...

Pilotedge Community

After flying with PE daily for over 6 months, I really feel a sense of community. But, (there is always a but, right?) here is what's missing (IMHO): A single place for connecting with the community A page on the controllers A single place where all the community can get together would be great. Rig...

Re: Integrated ATIS for Pilotedge

Okay. I'd asked because of the many developmental nuggets you've dropped. Thanks!

PS. keep the nuggets coming... :)

Re: Pilot Introductions

PilotEdge has driven home just how important it is to have my CFI sitting in the right seat. Alas, he's not there. Only on PE can I work through my errors and live to learn from it or make the same error again. About 10 years ago, I was a bonafide student pilot with about 12 hours of realworld PIC t...

Re: Integrated ATIS for Pilotedge

I'm stumbling through threads that captures my interest. Just wondering if the development Roadmap is public and published somewhere? VERBOSE stuff (that you might as well skip): The answer about the Roadmap is probably posted in another thread but I if don't ask hear and now, I'll get distracted an...

Re: Does ATC use real world weather?

Wow! What a resource!!! Thanks. My PE world just got larger. PEaware.pilotedge.net, map.pilotedge.net & now: Myflightroute.com... hmmm ... I wonder what else is lurking out there?

Thanks Kevin for helping me understand more about how PE ATIS works.

Does ATC use real world weather?

I've been using San Luis (KSBP) as my training ground to get comfortable with ATC. Occasionally my real world ATIS will report runway 11 in use. However, ATC always taxi me to runway 29. I assumed PE ATC uses real world weather. I should mention that I use X-Plane sim set to real world weather for m...
