Re: East Coast Coverage

I'd be happy with just 24 hr coverage. As is, I can't fly during the time ATC is online.

Any Idea what this is about? Only happens on pilotedge

Every time I go to KAVX, this jet is half in the ground making a dust storm. I've also witnessed a passenger jet flying through the air changing front to back the whole time it's in view. I'm assuming it has something to do with the models that Pilotedge is telling xplane to show not being present, ...

Re: I-5 question

Wouldn't happen to know why you can't use the CRESO4 arrival? It has turbojet flight planning altitudes on it.

Re: I-5 question

Thanks, Shawn. I am doing my instrument training IRL, so I like the practice of using the VORs. :) Doing it in the 172 takes like 2 hrs tho!

Re: I-5 question

Ok, great. But shouldn't we use the CLARR3 arrival then? https://skyvector.com/files/tpp/1803/pdf/00662CLARR.PDF

I-5 question

The rating calls for specific routes for the type of aircraft: VNY3.DAG.CRESO4 for pistons and turboprop VNY3.DAG.KEPEC6 for RNAV jet VNY3.DAG.CLARR3 for non-RNAV jet I was going to fly the included cirus vision in xplane for this rating and while I can follow how I get to/from DAGGET on the piston ...

Re: I-3 Rating

That is the best thing about using pilotedge, you have to keep the brain engaged and actually FLY. I think I will be much further ahead when I start my instrument training. Thanks!

Re: I-3 Rating

You may be right, that makes sense I suppose. Although my clearance was vectors SLI V23 POPPR then as filed, so I was expecting the 125 radial out of SLI. Could be that I heard what I was expecting! I flew around 430 PST.
