I'll be off work Friday afternoon so I should be able to make this one. Couple questions though. I missed the flight planning meeting yesterday, can I still join the flight? Will there be a preflight briefing? Was the choice to go IFR or VFR made in yesterday's meeting or can we still choose our own...

I was wondering about that... Clearly I haven't spent much time with FSX.

Looks like 1) Grapevine/5 Fwy near lake Castaic, 2) over metro LA/Hollywood hills, 3) port of Long Beach.

I can't offer any help, but I for one appreciate your troubleshooting, Steven. I was considering upgrading to Mountain Lion but will hold off until I know it'll play nice with PE.

Point taken. It was a suggestion/question from an admittedly uneducated perspective. Thanks for the thorough explanation.

I do hope PE continues to grow and that someday it'll get to the point where opening more facilities makes sense, but it's already a fantastic service as it is now.
