Re: MSFS2020 COM1 COM2

Scott, Thanks for your explanations. The rotary selector to the right of the audio panel is always set to COM1, as I always transmit on COM1. I only use COM2 to listen to ATIS or Guard. However, I have not been able to set buttons on my CH Flight Sim Yoke to mute/unmute COM1 nor COM2. I have not bee...

Pilotedge traffic not displayed in RXP GNS530

Hello, I have installed Reality XP GNS 530W on my XPlane 11 simulator. I have selected "No AI traffic" in XPlane's configuration menu, and I can see other Pilotedge planes from the cockpit. There is a traffic page in the GNS530W; however it is always empty, and never displays any traffic n...

Re: Xplane 11.5x lost navpoints

@Kevin: I am 100% sure all these navpoints have always been there, since I joined Pilotedge and until 11.50 Vulkan. Actually, I am surprised that no other Pilotedge user is missing them, as to fly the LAX Southbound Miniroute, one is required to either fly from navpoint SMO to navpoint VPLSR, or set...

Xplane 11.5x lost navpoints

Hello, since I have upgraded XPlane to 11.5x (Vulkan), my gns530 does no longer recognize any nav waypoints, e.g.: VPLQM, VPLVT, VPLHP, VPLMS etc. I reinstalled Xplane with a clean install (I did add Saitek, SpadNext, realSimGear and Pilotedge plugins), but no luck. I contacted XPlane support and th...

Re: More Realistic Sound?

Indeed turning down radio to 50% in Xplane settings solved the exaggerated distorsion problem!
Thanks a lot

Re: More Realistic Sound?

@Markus: thanks for your answer. I do not change any hardware setting: right after I quit XPlane 11, I do not remove my headset nor do I tweak the volume: I go directly to the pilotedge web site to listen to the past hour of ZLA recording. There, audio recording is crystal clear. Note that when conn...

Re: More Realistic Sound?

Hello, I am aware that as a foreigner, my needs are 99% against the flow. Since Pilotedge has added VHF distortion, I have had great difficulty understanding some controllers' instructions. I end up screwing up a lot, to the point where sometimes I pretend to have understood just to avoid bothering ...

ATC frequencies for Flight Following

Hello, Yesterday I was flying VFR, departing from Oceano (L52). I wanted to request flight following as soon as I left Oceano. However, neither SkyVector's World VFR map nor the sectional chart, nor Oceano's Airport page mention any frequency to contact ATC for approach/departure. - Where can I find...
