Yes. It didn’t change anything.
Something I did has resulted in not being kicked off the network as quickly, and it lets me keep talking to ATC, but they still lose me on radar.

Re: Radios are reporting dead
Yes, to spell it out in more detail, I know I am switching successfully between radios because the radio I've selected illuminates the frequency in green just as IRL. But also, I can see on the PE map that my frequency has changed and it matches the respective radio I just selected. The problem is t...

Re: Radios are reporting dead
Some more details: It is only Com2 that is dead. Com1 seems to work fine. I switch back and forth and see this reflected when monitoring the live map. Same is true for both aircraft I tested. I looked at equipment failures but don't see any indication of a radio being failed intentionally. xMaybe th...

Radios are reporting dead
I'm trying to get up and running on XPlane 11.5. (I've been on P3D prior to now.) The install was pretty simple and it allows me to connect to the network, but kicks me off after a minute or two. I can hear and communicate pretty well at first, but then I'm cut off. At one point when I transmitted, ...

SmartCopilot and intercom
What advice or howtos are out there on using PE concurrently with SmartCopilot. I don’t understand how to have an intercom channel open while still being able to use PE comms. I would think Windows would complain about two programs mapping to my headset simultaneously. Or am I wrong about this causi...

Re: ERROR SoundUnknownDevice (2321)
Pasting a reply from a support exchange: Keith Smith (PilotEdge) Aug 23, 2020, 8:01 PM PDT It's likely that windows updated and changed the audio device settings. Step 6 of the P3D page in the download section of our web site shows how to change the PE audio settings after installation. Setting the ...

ERROR SoundUnknownDevice (2321)
[06:07:51] Voice error: ERROR SoundUnknownDevice (2321) PE doesn't seem to believe I have any sound devices now. PE 1.2.3 P3D .5.13.32097 I can hear sound fine from P3D, but PilotEdge can't seem to find the devices. It was working fine before. Tried restarting, reinstalling PE, resetting sound devic...

Re: Voice error: ERROR NotConnected (1794)
If your internet isn't reliable, that would do it. There aren't any server issues that we're aware of. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something in terms of configuration or whatever. I did an internet quality check and was seeing some horrible ping times and jitter. I rebooted my...

Re: Voice error: ERROR NotConnected (1794)
Or is this just a case of my internet sucking this week now that the whole city is working from home?

Re: Voice error: ERROR NotConnected (1794)
Same problem. Client has been pretty reliable for several months. I just updated to PE Client 1.1.1 and it started booting me off the network every five minutes or so. I uninstalled and rolled back to 1.1.0 but it happened again.
