Re: Twitch Stream Anoouncements

Sorry Keith, had to practice the arc once first before the main event. I'm shooting for tonight around 7pm Pacific. It wasn't as tough as I thought, but then again I was offline...lol. I flubbed the missed, but I was just going though the motions at that point. I also followed the missed all the way...

Re: Twitch Stream Anoouncements

Thanks Keith. Today's flight was kind of impromptu and I plan on some sort of scheduling. In the interest of time today I started the stream mid plan and wasn't even able to finish the flight due to the "boss" arriving early...lol..I still need to find a way to chat other than the digitalt...

Twitch Stream Anoouncements

I wasn't sure what section of the forums this thread would be appropriate for, but for now I am going to use this thread to announce when I am about to go live for a twitch stream on the PE network. I would like to have more than a days notice of my stream, but for now I will just play it by ear. So...

First Twitch Stream

Hey all. I decided to stream my first flight in a long time on PE earlier and didn't have many viewers, but I was mainly doing it to test my settings. The recording is viewable here http://www.twitch.tv/herkchief/b/371609705 It is over an hour long so I have compiled some highlights. I had some issu...

Re: Any twitch.tv broadcasters?

I also picked up Jacob's FSXFlight program and tossed the GPS Sim cable as it was not working and the configuration was a mess. I have all my twitch video settings tweaked and hopefully my CPU doesn't hate me when I start streaming. Is there a dedicated thread in the forums for advertising thses str...

Re: Any twitch.tv broadcasters?

Looks like I found what I need. The Reflector mirroring program is recognized in the streaming app (XSplit) as a game source. This is perfect! Now I don't have to mess around with screen regions. Unfortunately I can't get XSplit to recognize FSX as a game source.

Re: Any twitch.tv broadcasters?

Ill have to ask him what he is using. I have seen some mirroring apps, but I am afraid due to my single monitor setup that I would not be able to capture the program and the sim. May have to lug out the old monitor for troubleshooting.
