Re: SoCal Workout
Thanks boss. Man, I really blame PE for just giving me the X-plane craving. I think I fly it more than P3D and I'm really enjoying XP11 beta with Ortho scenery... On my way to Palm Springs in the Vision jet (I didn't fly online because I can't figure out how to set the transponder, it appears to be ...

Re: My 2nd Serious Emergency on PE
I found out the problem much later. Fuel imbalance. I thought I had checked my W+B before flight. I always do in P3D and XP. But for some reason it was way off... P.S. I don't actually do a full W+B. I'd be interested to know who actually does that on this network. I would imagine some do for FSE or...

My 2nd Serious Emergency on PE
Gotta love XP, seems to give me the most trouble at the most unexpected times! I still don't know what happened. But tonite departing SAN in my C340 (Carenado model), in XP11pb9, I was assigned a 310 heading... Well I could not maintain even runway heading at first. I couldn't bank right! I know it ...

Re: Bell 429 (for XP) freeware
It's donationware. I guess the technhical way to get a hold of him is to look up his username GPB500 over at The Org and PM him for details.
Actually just check your PM - actually nevermind yours doesn't seem to work.

Re: Filing Direct
Where are you doing your flying? If you're well outside of contested airspace you'll probably get direct often. I work traffic in northern MN and nearly all of our GA IFR clearances are direct. If you fly east coast or west coast (like PE service area), you're going to get TEC routing or other canne...

Bell 429 (for XP) freeware
For the rotorheads out there... apparently I missed this one completely... It looks amazing. I'm hoping it works in 11 as well. http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/34702-bell-429-global-ranger/ edit: It does work in XP11 pb if you download this patch (uses the x trident 412 plugin) http:...
