Re: Dash8 Q400 Special Training Session
Chas, If you haven't already, check out Airline2Sim's Q400 video training series. $30USD for 9 videos. They are all very well done and you'll learn a lot. Another more advanced series is to be released soon. Todd A short 8 min clip of one of the training flights is available in a a Mutleys Hangar a...
Re: PE Tours?
Are there any tours on PE, like the ones they have on vatsim/ivao? it would be cool to have tours on here. With you on this especially if a group can get together to fly the same route. It is something I miss on PE, perhaps it is difficult to achieve, for me , because of different times zones etc b...

Re: request feedback on proposed feature
Good idea, helpful advice always welcome as long as it doesn't interfere with ATC comms for others, if kept brief & to the point should not be an issue. Perhaps the bigger questions is defining experience. 1000 hours with minimal radio use flying in the sticks could be the same as a lot lesser h...

Re: TCAS Alerts
Understandable------I was Ksan to Kvny on a SANN16 at 8000ft. Not to sure of my exact location but possibly before I entered the Bravo. The real question was the action to take re TA & RA, that I am now clear on. Thanks & thanks to Gavin for the answer

TCAS Alerts
I'm aware that the pilot has ultimate responsibility for the safety of the a/c & himself but just what is the correct action on receiving a TCAS alert & what should be conveyed to ATC if the pilot takes avoiding action? As a supplementary, I am so used to hearing SOCAL making one aware of ot...

Re: Shared Cockpit
I think this is going to be of interest to a few people I know who may be nervous of going it alone or just want a bit of a confidence booster.Keith Smith wrote:And now it's done. I'll be announcing soon.
The question is, how soon is soon?

Re: Flying a heavy/super on PilotEdge
Great film, love the music just before the water arch.
Comms aside I recall someone saying that heavies were complicated, sounds like someone has been spinning me a yarn.
