Thanks so much, David. I'm actually on a(nother!) self-imposed flight-sim hiatus at the moment, due to other priorities and commitments.
But I'll definitely take your results into account when I'm back in the cockpit.... one of these years.....
Cheers

Re: first flight with my son
I had an uncle that used to captain large sea tankers when I was growing up. I remember him trying to explain a way to train your body to be able to handle the effects of sea sickness. It was something like "stand up, tilt your head down, touch your finger to your nose, spin around in a circle,...

Re: Fly-In Event Revenge of The Controllers
Hi Pat. Thanks for thinking of me!
Unfortunately, though, I'm stuck in the hangar right now and don't see a whole lot of flying in my short-term horizon.

Re: FSX Software for Taxiing
I orient myself using the FSX "Top Down" view to start with, and then reference the airport diagram on a separate screen. If I'm really lost, I bring up the PE Live map in satellite view. If budget is not an issue, go for Foreflight with GPS for the plates. Also, if you do get lost or aren...

Re: Controller info?
Would it be of interest to anyone else to have a page on the website with photos and short bio's of the PE controllers? I've seen Keith in some of the promotional videos, but it would be nice to put a name and face to the other helpful voices on PE. Of course there would need to be an audio sample ...

Re: first flight with my son
Keith, that was wonderful to watch. Thanks for sharing something so personal. I feel your heart may have been momentarily broken and/or you were internally cursing mother nature. This is actually one of my biggest fears if I ever get back in the saddle, i.e. that my wife and kids will have one bad e...
