[SOLVED]Flight Sound X Crashes X-Plane!
Do this if you ever have this problem on Mac: Open your computer preferences/audio **Make sure the headset adaptor is plugged in. Select the 'built in' (in other words, NOT the usb headset adaptor) option for both input and output. Open X-Plane. Close X-Plane. In sound prefs, select the USB adaptor ...

Flight Sound X Crashes X-Plane!
I just received my Flight Sound X headset adaptor. Plug it in, set it up in prefs, fire up X-Plane, and it just works. Yay! Next day, fire up X-Plane, now ATC is playing through computer speakers. All other sounds are playing through headphones. Mic works in that I hear side tone, but no audio is tr...

Re: The iPad-Challenged PE Newbies Guide to ForeFlight
I am new to the iPad-in-the-cockpit environment. I prefer tattered sectionals, a plotter, and an E6B (though I far from master of any of these). For quick access of approach plates and AFDs as well as excellent flight planning, I chose Reader Plates as my app. I don't like a screen with a blip telli...

Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes
Last night I flew VFR out of KVNY for KRIR. My instruction from tower when cleared for a turn to the east was to remain south of KBUR at all times. I looked at my chart and saw my out bound course from VNY VOR just shaving the whiskers off the south end of Burbank's south runway. That's south of isn...

Re: Headset volume
With a good headset in the real plane, much of the cockpit environment noise should be blocked out. I fly with all my X-Plane sound sliders at near zero with my headphone out set to max and have no issues. For what it's worth, I am actually using iPhone ear buds with the built in mic. It's pretty gh...

Re: questions from prospective user(s)
Next question: Is it possible or practical to fly from Vatsim controlled airspace into PE controlled space and have a plausible handoff to a PE controller? An example scenario would be a flight departing KSEA under Vatsim control, and eventually entering LA center to be handed off to a PE controller...

Hello!
I will sign up for my account in the coming weeks. My question is: how does the plugin draw other aircraft in sim- be they human flown or drone? How does the plugin know what aircraft to draw and what art resources to utilize to produce the correct visuals? I use x-plane 10.
