Re: some nice feedback...
Whoever is controlling tonight (specifically covering KSMO Tower) deserves kudos. It was busy, had a couple new pilots on, and that controller handled it with professionalism and patience. Pilotedge continues to earn my subscription.

Re: XPlane Crash
What's the error code on the BSoD? This likely isn't an issue with X-Plane. More likely a hardware issue that X-Plane is exacerbating.

Re: Never again on PE - share your mistakes
I've been ferrying an FSEconomy C210 from Upstate NY to the Pilotedge service area. Flew into U42 earlier this morning, and got a case of "gotta-get-there-itis". My next paying assignment was to KVGT, and I convinced myself I could fit one more flight in before heading off to bed. That's a...

Re: Byte Network
Pointed my FBOs (L88, L68, CA42) towards KSMO. Don't need to point gates to mine; I just like flying into KSMO more than Long Beach.

Re: Tehachapi wind farm...
Removed the offending +35-119.dsf file (moved it into a disabled scenery folder) from AIPilotX's HDv3 mesh folder, and the farm is no longer there. Thanks! Edit: Well, that's not right. Don't troubleshoot when you're tired. Apparently, that's not the right DSF, as the turbines are back. I'll do more...

Re: Tehachapi wind farm...
That'd be too easy  ;). Knocking number of objects in the rendering settings down to "none" does get rid of all of the turbines... but setting it to "default" brings them back en masse. I have a theory that since the FAA has the turbines listed as obstructions, X-Plane is g...

Tehachapi wind farm...
... I think they put up enough wind powered generators there. That farm is dragging my frame rate down to nothing. Before I go hunting for a method to bring them down to a sane number (I see no reason to get rid of them all), has anyone else tackled this? Did a quick Google search, and found nothing.

Re: FBOs with assignments within PE coverage area
BonanzaDude just sent CA42 and L88 over to Aviation West, gratis. Supplies have been delivered and the FBOs reopened. All the gates are pointed to 46CA. I also transferred L68 to Aviation West, just to keep things organized better.

Re: Beware: X-Plane 10.4 = CFIT??
I had that problem a while ago; wasn't related to 10.40 at all. I diagnosed it by removing all of my custom scenery into a "X-Plane 10\Disabled Scenery" folder, then used a "Split Half" diagnostic technique (http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=420908&seqNum=3) to ...
