Re: Linux Support
This may not be much help but here's my experience with Ubuntu Linux. Tons of problems getting the 64 bit to work while the 32 bit version was straight forward by comparison. Working Nvidia drivers were painless to find. Looking online for "other" Lunix plugins such as Saitek or Goflight s...

Re: [May 17, Sat 2000 PDT] KSBA Fly-In
IMO the more the merrier! Some of us might actually get to/have to practice "holding".
I had a blast the last fly in. Even had a plane on the runway cause a go around. Great practice. Love the extra radio chatter.

Re: Networked PC help
The SimConnect file defines the TCP/IP IP addresses of the "partners" and port #'s to use. The configuration on all of the PC's need to match to work. It's easy to make a mistake as XML isn't the easiest thing to understand. It might help us help you to post a diagram of your system. It sh...

Re: Lost Comms
David, it does put considerable stress on the system. Since you can simulate lost comms by simply flying offline, PE isn't adding much value there. If you want to proceed online, though, It's probably best to ask if they can accommodate a test of lost comms since it does affect other pilots and the...

Re: "climb via SID"
Is this change something to make a topic for a PilotEdge Workshop?
When I first read this, it didn't hit me that the pilots need to report the "climb via" or "descend via" to the next ATC controller.

Re: Looking for a hole!
Just wonder if you have any ideas why your sim crashes/hangs? In my own case the numbers of sims "hangs" went up once REX was installed. It seems to happen when a weather update is done.
Re: Go Flight
Something to consider if the number of USB devices to connect exceed the number of available ports. It is possible to use more than one USB hub. Suggestions for things to check. Is it possible that the number of devices connected have exceed the available power in the USB hub? If the working modules...

Re: Goran's Delicious Saab 340 on sale
I was looking at this plane as well. Seems very detailed.
Does it have GPS?
Does it have a FMC (even a simple one?).
Looking forward to reading how it flys.

Re: Audio problems with ATC voice
FWIIW I have encountered the issue of low ATC volume under FSX and Win7. For me, the problem occurs when FSX is paused. After the pause is released, the ATC volume will be very low. If the Win7 audio mixer is opened, in my case the PilotEdge app volume would be very low relative to the others. The s...

DP=Departure Procedure
Could this be referring to the LAXX6 Departure Procedure?
