When I first read this, it didn't hit me that the pilots need to report the "climb via" or "descend via" to the next ATC controller.

Just wonder if you have any ideas why your sim crashes/hangs? In my own case the numbers of sims "hangs" went up once REX was installed. It seems to happen when a weather update is done.

Something to consider if the number of USB devices to connect exceed the number of available ports. It is possible to use more than one USB hub. Suggestions for things to check.
