It's sometimes not obvious what frequency to use. The postage stamp boxes on Skyvector charts are usually appropriate but if you call in and ATC wants you on another area frequency they will tell you without a problem.

Find the nearest center frequency on an IFR chart in a "postage stamp" box.

Or use this feature on MyFlightRoute.com. You simply select your user name and it will display the 10 nearest center frequencies.
