Thanks!
I must read a bit.
I understood minimums at points, where you must have runway in sight.

Re: Approach gate should be mentioned in I-1 rating descript
Okay, interesting because after both flights the controllers discussed that in a kind of mini debrief. I googled and found this: http://www.terps.com/ifrr/feb98c.pdf Anyway, I told the controller that my understanding is that it's up to me to catch the approach path/ glide slope after I've been clea...

Approach gate should be mentioned in I-1 rating description
Hi! Yesterday I nearly failed my second attempt to get the I-1 rating simply because I was not fully established on the localizer (LOC) and glide slope (G/S) for the instrument landing system (ILS) approach latest one mile before the final approach fix (FAF). I suggest that the description for the I...

Re: How to test what the transponder sends?
I‘m not sure but think that I‘ve tried nearly every possible combination. I will try it again later. The switch at the top left should normally stay on AUTO and altitude reporting should start when airborne, right? If that‘s the case I‘d like to know why the GROUND controller at Santa Ana airport in...

Re: How to test what the transponder sends?
I think I tried it with TA/RA setting first and switched to STDBY later.
Hope, there is a way to check the other end or have some guidance describing how I can debug that by monitoring datarefs.

How to test what the transponder sends?
Hi! I made several flights in the Pilotedge network with the Flightfactor A320 Ultimate and now I had problems with the transponder. My feeling is, that this was the first controller really checking my transponder signal since I did it as always and have not changed the simulator or aircraft. The gr...

Re: Choose a free gate/ stand and runway(s) in use
(...) the easiest method for relocating your AC is the X-plane map feature. (...)e Hi, thanks for this but I'm not sure if that's always a good choice. I often experienced, that more complex aircraft (e. g. JARDesign or Flightfactor AIRBUS) do not like to get moved like that. May be an issue with t...
