Re: Jeff's X-Plane Scenery for SoCal and Beyond
Probably just more updates to existing airports for a while. That reminds me, I have to upload a new version of KCRQ with corrected taxi signs. And, as I've seen on some streams and YouTube videos, I need to correct some of the start locations to appropriate aircraft type for those of you using AI a...

Re: Free Scenery for PilotEdge users
That's correct. Same scenery file, just one has orthos. If you have the SimHeaven Los Angeles photoscenery, you want the one without orthos.

Re: Jeff's X-Plane Scenery for SoCal and Beyond

Quick update: I'm back to working on KPSP Palm Springs now that I've obtained permission to use the custom modeled terminal and Air Museum buildings originally made for MSFS. Coming together quite nicely, wil...

Re: Newbie xplane user
The only payware scenery in the PE area is this well-done rendition of KTOA Torrance: http://store01.prostores.com/servlet/x-planestore/Detail?no=316 As a local, I can vouch for its accuracy; very worth the mere $8.95. Only downsides are the lack of static aircraft on the ramp and some autogen trees...

Re: [X-Plane] Adding airport layouts and signage
Hey xwind, here's a great tutorial on how to use WED on the org: http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?showtopic=65834
You're off to a good start with the airports you've done so far. Thank you for contributing to the X-Plane landscape!

Re: John Wayne Airport Runway Renumbering
Thanks Keith. I was wondering why there wasn't more mention of it here...
I'm glad I asked - I was about to re-do my scenery file tonight if it was going into effect. Changing every taxi and hold short sign would've been a LOT of work for one night...
