MSFS Options for Model Matching Default Aircraft

The "Default Model" found in the MSFS PilotEdge Client settings controls what aircraft your simulator will display when no other similar models exist in your sim. This option may be left alone, or can be edited by the user as a way to select which aircraft you'll see when no better matches...

Re: [Dec 19th, 2020] 3-6pm PST - Santa Scramble

We used to maintain a list on the old web site before we launched before Oct 1 2011, but didn't feel it was worth porting over to the new site. This is the first anyone's asked in 9 years, so our guess was about right :) You can use the online map (turn on the drone display, click on each drone and...

Re: Custom Airport Scenery Requests

Oh ok, I see what you mean now. I was thinking the little east/west one just below and out of the picture. I'll post updates on the top post, next to BFL.

Re: Custom Airport Scenery Requests

I understand what you mean for the displaced thresholds, Asobo uses pretty outdated satelite imagery. As far as the taxiway from KCSO to the southeast ramp, all my reference sources and airport diagram shows that it still exists. Do you have a picture to illistrate what you mean? I'm hoping the next...

Re: Invalid password in Pilotedge Pilot Client

Are you able to access your Account Center from the PilotEdge homepage? If able, you can try to reset your password from there. If you're still unable to log in, reach out to billing@pilotedge.net .

Re: Seeing Live (PE) Traffic

Yes, the default model when model matching can't find a suitable match is the A320. You can change the default aircraft in your settings under Model Matching. Entries into that field must match the aircraft title in the aircraft.cfg. For example, mine is set as "Generic Piston Multi Engines Aso...

Re: Procedure NA arrival on airway radials 230 CW 310

To put it in clearer terms, the NA is basically saying "turns from V27 or V4-495 onto the SEA R-282 would be too drastic to be safely established on the radial for the approach". All other airways can feed into the R-282 without needing an almost 180° turn around to get established.

Re: Frasca FTD

What model Frasca FTD, and how old is the system? Do you happen to know what platform is loaded for the visuals? Using this information, Keith will be able to answer whether this is feasable or not for your FTD.

Re: Entering Class C Airspace with Flight Following

This is covered on the CAT-08 rating. Below is an excerpt from the rating description. "If you are already in communication with approach as a result of receiving flight following, there is no need to make any additional calls. In either case, approach control will advise you to contact tower a...
