Re: MisterX6 KPDX Launched!
I'll go ahead and nominate Vegas - the freeware one on the Org isn't quite up to par, and I'd rather not have to buy Glitter Gulch. Sometimes I feel like I'm taking advantage of his scenery... Maybe I need to donate, hmmm.

Re: Arriving into KHND
Have always had a suspicion, thought I would mention it here. My understanding is that "radar services terminated" also relates to traffic separation, terrain avoidance, etc... services. Would that be correct? Is that the intention? I would assume that you would still be clear of traffic, ...

Re: Looking for an RNAV/FMS Jet Aircraft
John, if there's nothing on the XP forums, I doubt it. Devs would make more money with a new aircraft rather than splitting the market.

Re: Realworld vs. FSX Foreflight
Kyle, what I usually end up doing is just tuning to a VOR and flying direct, using DME on VOR2 (or 1 depending on circumstances) to stay clear of the airspace. Or I just get FF.... Part of the fun of VFR for me is trying to navigate visually. John, that looks like a neat little app, I'll probably gi...

Re: Realworld vs. FSX Foreflight
Flying VFR in a King Air around SOCAL would be quite taxing. I'd suggest a slower airplane like a Cessna before flying a twin turboprop around here. C206 was just as bad, it just made less $ on FSE ;) My problem is trying to visually locate the airspace boundaries, even with a sectional on the seco...

No, all weather and time-of-day is client-side. Feel free to use whatever time you want.

Re: Realworld vs. FSX Foreflight
Thanks...I'll check this out a little more. From what I've seen on YouTube...it looks like a great service, even though it may be "cheating" Acroshaw! :) At least I can feel like I can fly VFR a little easier. If anything, IFR is much much easier in my opinion. Elaborate. What is easier a...

Re: Some Noob Ques
Almost all the controlled fields are "jet-friendly", but as mentioned above, very little cruise time. In the 732, you're tuning VORs or dialing in frequencies almost non-stop (though it gets more streamlined the more you fly). Some airports include: KLAS, KLAX, KSNA, KPSP, KSFO (soon to be...
