Re: Pr3pared ATIS
Go to your sound setting inside P3D and use the ATC slider bar and bring it all the way down. In addition to that, you can turn on show ATC messages in the ATC window box and will be able to read ATC messages. This is ideal for still being able to know ATIS at uncontrolled PE Tower fields as well as...

Re: Incident Report Thread
No thats more for newbie mistakes. I'm talking about being able to post a report of what happened. As an example, I landed in Aspen and was rolling down the runway coming to a normal stop. All of a sudden the plane veered off the runway at about 40kts slowing. I came to rest off the runway. So when ...

Incident Report Thread
Almost all of my flights are done with planes or addons that give me a chance to have to deal with something wrong happening. For GA, I fly A2A planes in P3D and REP planes in Xplane so both of those have the plane age and in doing so there is a chance things might break in mid-flight. I also fly tw...

Flight planning help requested
I'm wanting to enjoy flying the A2A Civilian P51 from KMrY to KLAS and have a couple of questions. First is plane code type. Would P51 work on PE because thats all I could find online. Next is routing. For Eastbound I am thinking TORO7.SNS V230 FRA BIH LIDAT V105 BTY.FUZZY8 at FL190 Westbound BOACH8...

Re: Addons and immersive flights
I dont like to spend a lot of time in cruise. I want to be active as much as possible instead of just sitting there watch scenery go by. Thats why I have created in FSE certain routes and then found the planes and as best i can airlines/routes to match. In FSE I have FBOs at KWYS, KDEN and KEGE. My ...

Addons and immersive flights
Posted this originally on Avsim I use various sims for various flights (P3D v3, v4, Xp11 and AFS2). That said, I have really been enjoying a certain route lately and I wanted to share why and it all boils down to all the addon components that make up the flight. To start off I'm using P3Dv3 using Fl...

MSFS 2020
Keith, I really hope PilotEdge can become actively involved in working with MS to have PE work with the new sim during the beta stages. Little is known what they have in mind for this new sim but if they are wanting to "work with the community" as they stated, the best ATC should be part o...

Thanks to PE for helping with my PPL
When I joined PE a year and a half ago, I knew the radio calls from the sim but had no real time in making them. Radio work was my weakest area. I cant thank the great people at PilotEdge enough for making that now just as strong as my flying skills. I took my exam yesterday at 41.5 hours logged and...

Re: Suggestion add a VR toggle on the flight plan
I feel your pain as I too fly only VR. A couple of work arounds that I found have helped. I have the Oculus and fly both P3D using Flyinside and XP11 using native VR. First is that if you have the headset on your head but not over your face but tilted up on top of your head the mic still works perfe...
