Re: PEaware did not log VFR flights

So, it was Hollister. Had to be a reason. As for waiting, you will note that I did just that, as that "problem" had reared its head at some time in the past, and I had been advised to wait (probably by you, Keith!). I do usually check on the PilotEdge home page to see if my flight has been...

PEaware did not log VFR flights

Both yesterday and today, I flew VFR from Modesto to Hollister. In both cases I was connected to PE (and logged VFR flight plans). Yesterday, I had no contact with anyone, despite being connected.......Odd, but it can happen. The flight was not recorded in PEaware, however. Today, I connected, and s...

Re: Merry Christmas to all PilotEdge staff and users

I would join in the best wishes to all the PilotEdge staff for a Very Happy Christmas and New Year. We old regulars are enjoying PE as much as ever, and I for one know it has sharpened my RW radio work! Again, all the very best to you all - and while I'm about it, the same to all the customers, many...

Re: PE traffic

You have a mix of old and new CSL's. My guess is that you didn't delete your PE folder and start from scratch as recommended in the release notes for the new plugin. You should delete the PE folder, unzip the plugin again, and then install any additional HD CSL's that you recently downloaded. As fo...

PE traffic

PilotEdge folder.jpg I'm finding that I see far less traffic since "upgrading" to the latest PE client. I frequently never spot traffic called out to me, and I'm pretty sure that it was a lot better before the new client. I do see some traffic, and I'm wondering whether I have either too ...

Re: Piper Warrior models, real world training, and X-Plane 1

tgray: Carenado's version of the PA28 was an Archer. Just knocking the HP back a bit won't work, because X-Plane's "way" of simulating flying is a bit too complex for that. Also, go and look at an Archer of that vintage, and you will see that it's not quite the same as the Warrior! The eng...

Re: PilotEdge Receiver

Hi Keith,

As noted, I'm pretty sure that the WUS feed on the PE receiver for the Mac seems to be on, regardless of whether its box is ticked or not.

Re: PilotEdge Receiver

Hi
Actually, not quite. Yes, we can hear WUS, but I could still hear it without the box being ticked.
