KLAS tower controller suffers a stroke
This was a bit difficult to listen to but was also interesting and educational how the pilots held positions and questioned unclear instructions from the tower as this poor controller was unknowingly suffering a stroke.

Not much else you can do but dive at a greater descent rate than 500 ft/min. The 5 mile ring is to the center of the airport, so it's actually about 4.4 miles to the threshold of RWY 8 and a drop of 2222 ft. So that's 500 ft/mile or 750 ft/min traveling at 90 knots . . . about a 5 degree glide slope...
