So that there is no misunderstanding, the tower will still issue a takeoff clearance for each plane, won't it?When approaching the departure runway, monitor tower, do not call for departure. Aircraft will assume to be ready for takeoff upon reaching the runway.

Re: AOPA's news on Bill and PilotEdge
I don't do Facebook, Keith!
Anyway, the FB page is kind of preaching to the converted. The extra exposure you got from the AOPA newsletter can only be beneficial! A bigger audience than AIN, I would suspect.

AOPA's news on Bill and PilotEdge
Those of us who are AOPA members will have seen the Aviation eBrief of 1/30/19, with a big feature on Bill Forelli. His use of X-Plane and PilotEdge in helping him get his RW PPL is thoroughly explored. Well worth a read, if you missed it!

Re: Recognizing Ken's contribution
Of course, Ken's ATIS page allows us to look around a huge area, and see even "remote" ATIS information - as if we could be getting it these days in a well equipped glass cockpit. Of course, there are a load of ways to get aviation weather - Aeroweather, Skyvector, etc., etc. However, thes...

Re: PE 1.5.0 - ATC can't hear me
FlyingDrill, Try not to hijack other people's support posts. I'll try to build an option to enable/disable the filtering in the UI. At the very least, I can make it a config file option. The sound appeared to work well for me on the Mac. I agree that it might be a little more tinny than r/w (depend...

Re: PE 1.5.0 - ATC can't hear me
I'm using x-plane 11.25 (latest non-beta I think) on Mac OS High Sierra with all updates. I downloaded PE 1.5.0 and love the new audio processing. It's been a bit frustrating though as one flight is fine but on the next (after sim restart) ATC can't hear me. I've confirmed that even when I can't be...

Re: X-Plane plugin v1.5.0 released
Hi Keith, Not too happy with v1.5.0. Eugene sounds awful, and Jeneva not much better. I was "talking" to Eugene at Boise on Ground, and he was verging on the unintelligible. Nothing to do with his accent, with which I have no problem whatsoever with the older plugin. Joe has his own filte...
