Re: Two Newbie Questions

It was me that worked you last night. I'm Canadian, I don't get annoyed with anybody ;) After you stepped over another pilot on the comms for the third time, I asked you if you could hear other pilots. I was trying to figure out if there was a glitch on our end as to why you couldn't hear them. We g...

Re: When can I turn?

Unless otherwise specified, the initial turn for an IFR departure should be made at 400' AGL.

Awesome. Glad to hear it. That's why we are here! Just remember, controllers are human too, we make mistakes. When in doubt, or unsure, ask for clarification.

Re: IFR: Modified ODP from KEMT

If PRADO is not on your route of flight, or if the departure procedure doesn't mention PRADO, question the clearance controller for sure. Given the date and time, that was probably me. The KPOC ODP ends at PRADO, so I may have issued that in error. Let's call it ATC error.........

No problem at all. Happens all the time, just let us know you need to step away for xxx minutes on frequency. We are happy to accommodate.

Re: MSFS 2020

Nobody knows until it comes out. I have heard of people already having success using it with VATSIM. As I said in my post directly above, as long as FS202 uses Simconnect, the existing clients will probably work as they are now. Nobody will know for sure until it launches.

Re: MSFS 2020

As long as MSFS2020 uses Simconnect, and it appears that it will, the existing clients will probably work.
