Re: Where can I find out what is weather in PE at the airpor
So if I say "I have the weather" rather than "I have HOTEL" it would insinuate I am running custom weather? Or should I just state "custom weather?"

Re: Using a transponder from the cockpit and Voice error
Hey Alex, I have FSX which is somewhat equivalent to P3D and fly a Skylane from A2A. I too have the same problem with the transponder, only working from the client or the PE splash screen that I see in the corner of my sim window. I've just accepted it and moved on. Have no clue about your second pr...

Re: Integrated ATIS for Pilotedge
Is this going to work with FSX also or are we out there with no audio ATIS after Feb 6?

Re: CAT-1/CAT-2: Airport Error/Utility of Flight Simulation
Yes VFR charts are packed! If you use the PE map the road map is pretty useful for simming. The 'MAP' mode shows a great deal of roads. It's Google's map so it's accurate. Plus it tracks your plane if you like. The map also has a topographical layer that's handy.

Re: PILOT ROSTER UPDATE?
did you verify the update on the roster before logging off PE? If it wasn't on there and you logged off, it's gone into the bit bucket and recycled. Nothin anyone can do. It's a common mistake people make. Always make sure you see it. Shut sown the plane and go look. When you see it, it is safe to l...

Re: Learning to fly IFR
One of the biggest problems I have is with sim flying. I wish I could fly a sim plane as easily as I fly a real plane. My biggest problem is with views. I the real world I just turn my head, not remember what button to push. Ive been at this a while with some improvement but I still find it very fr...

Re: Flight following to an uncontrolled airport
My bad, you're right. Flight following wouldn't care if you called them back.zerofay32 wrote:That IFR. Not VFR Flight Following.
The first part is right though, right?

Re: CAT-1/CAT-2: ForeFlight Airport Error
P.S. I happen to own, and occasionally use, a marine sextant. I enjoy it, but mostly it’s a great reminder of why GPS is light years better. I suppose if I looked in my box of college crap I could probably find my slide rule, but prefer using my fingers and toes! Just kidding, I actually own ...

Re: CAT-1/CAT-2: ForeFlight Airport Error
Dang... did I throw an M-80 in the campfire here? All I was saying is all these CATs are VFR flights and if ForeFlight took L88 out of their database then click on SkyVector and look out the window. I did all the CATs with FSX Gold and default scenery and did them all looking out the window and I've...
