It seems like when we got everyone onboard during the AOPA summit, my system would start to have issues before the plugin would crash Xplanes. I'm curious if I was the only one?
Maybe we should arrange some play sessions in the evenings to put a load on the system and see what shakes out.

Re: Hardware
y'know, the usb headset may be an interesting way to go. Right now I achieve a good balance by running the headset and plugin on my main box, with almost all of X-planes sounds turned off. Then for engine sounds I have my rumble seat plugged into my second computer. Seems to work pretty well, but my...

Re: Trouble with the x-plane software
Kieth; I installed quicktime, then tried the 3.3 plugin just to see if it made any difference (I never got the quicktime errors, but I was not running it either) and the 3.3 plugin still does not register as a valid plugin. I rolled back to the 3.2 and I am back in business again.

Re: Anyone running Windows 7?
There is a Win7 32 bit version? Kinda seems like a contradiction.

Re: Trouble with the x-plane software
There was a problem with the 3.3 plugin, so Kieth rolled the site back to the 3.2 plugin. re-download it and you shouold be ok.

Re: Long Beach Pilot Briefing for AOPA Conference
I've been having issues where the plugin works for a while, then comm to the tower gets broken, and eventually I get an error from Xplanes. I sent K the technical info, and right now I a have ripped out the plugin and folders and am downloading the latest plugin dated 11/13. See if that helps. Oddly...

Re: Introductions, say hello!
My name is Adam Celaya. I got my PPL when I was seventeen (28 years ago orr so?) and have been flying as much as I can since. I am a VFR pilot teaching myself to fly IFR. I have logged a little rotary wing time, and get into the simulators at FlightSafety whenever I can. I like to fly almost anythin...

Re: thoughts on radio reception
The most cost effective way to do it would be to offer a web interface to file flight plans. Make it an option in the plugin menu, similar to Vatsim's (but with better explination of the fields, assuming that not everyone filing IFR is actually an IFR pilot.) You could skin the interface to look lik...

Do all of us have to fly a Baron also? Or can we fly whatever we want so long as it is at that airport?
