For some reason my xenviro data doesn't normally match what ATC is reporting. I'll check to see if there's a setting or something with my setup. Thanks!

I assume that we should be setting our altimeters based on what the ATIS shows in our sim rather than what controllers are giving us? Especially using ILS approaches/IMC. They aren't wildly different but I've been tending to use what xplane's atis gives me. You can download the noaa weather plug in...

If you go to the xplane.org site and search for scenery by ICAO code there is a LOT of great freeware/donationware stuff available for much of the SoCal area.
