Re: Request - Behind the scenes at PilotEdge

I typically try to stream at least 1 two hour shift a week. As Keith said a lot of stuff is proprietary and I cannot show it. However, my streams give a pretty good idea of what we see and do. http://www.twitch.tv/bgrchan Can't hit the twitch from work, but I'll check it from home... Thanks for the...

Request - Behind the scenes at PilotEdge

PilotEdge Team: On a perennial wish list of mine is a "behind the scenes" story on PilotEdge. I have questions stuck in my head like... * What about a video of a controller "loading up for work" - from computer prep to first log in? * What does a typical controller setup look lik...

Re: Ready for PE?

I've been flying on PE for a few months now and "online" for over a year. I still wander off a runway now and then. I finally put my rudder pedals into the system today and disabled the "rudder" axis on my Logitech 3D Xtreme joystick. Now the only steering and brakes I have are t...

Re: forefight its downloadable (charts)

I'm wondering if there's a way for PilotEdge to offer ForeFlight subscriptions as a bundle. Foreflight has a web portal for business users where you manage the number of authorized users and other details. Maybe as a $10/month add-on to the standard PE monthly fee. There would have to be some rules/...

This sounds like a fascinating airport and odd combination of exceptions and rules. Might be time to head over there...

Re: First try, and beginner questions

Would it be possible to add a PE feature for training with controller? Example: PE publishes a scenario - say something like a V-3 - but has a dedicated controller that staffs the stations just for that scenario and provides a written feedback to the pilot? I'm thinking something that would be sched...

Re: [Oct 5 1800PDT] Birthday Bash!

I was crossing Filmore descending for 5000 and heading 070 as my last instruction when we lost the radios. I changed to Van Nuys tower/CTAF and got nothing, so I went with traffic advisory calls and at least didn't embarrass myself. Will now brush up on lost comms procedure. Wouldn't mind a PE staff...

PilotEdge - finally

Finally joined PilotEdge after lurking for a year. Started my private pilot training and decided to spend some of my flight savings account on a real training tool. Hope to get my first flight within a week. Glad to be aboard. Keith's latest video sealed the deal for me. Thanks to all of the communi...
