Re: FSX Computer Crashes with PilotEdge
For what it's worth I have had the same issue with the PE Receiver under Windows 10 ever since I started using it some 6 month ago. It hangs (freezes) with 100% CPU load on one of the CPU cores after a maximum of 30 minutes work, it averages probably 15 mins without a crash. This behavior is consist...

Re: Landing at KCNO, do I need a clearance from KONT?
While still outside of the C you should contact Socal on 135.40: the TRACON controller for the Ontario sector (as per the TAC chart). To enter the class C you need to be in two way communication with the position that owns that airspace . If you advise SoCal on initial contact that you're going to C...

Re: Palomar airport corrupted
Just a notice: the log.txt gets reset on each simulator start, so if you have used it since experiencing the crash, you should try to load once again there to reproduce it, then after the sim is closed and before starting it again to look at the log.txt, or paste it here.

Re: Palomar airport corrupted
It's most likely missing object/library. If you go through your log.txt (in X-Plane's root folder) it will tell you what the exact issue is, or you can post (or link) your log.txt here, so that we can look at it and help.

Re: X-Plane crash today
Thanks for the heads up! I had a similar experience a couple of days ago but didn't investigate properly, although suspected SkyMaxx with its recent update to 3.2 (was stable before that). Good to know the issue has been identified and will be fixed.

Re: VA integration: API or datafeed?
Cheers, Tim!
Luke Kolin will be doing the implementation, you might remember him from older times; I'm sure he's experienced enough to integrate the data without abusing the capacity.
Thanks a lot for the assistance!

VA integration: API or datafeed?
Hello, One of the VA's that I'm flying for (https://www.deltava.org/) is looking to integrate Pilotedge as one of their online flying platforms and we're looking for a way to validate online pireps, hence the question: Is there a programmatically viable way of obtaining online pilot data, similar (o...

Video: PMDG DC-6 KSNA - KSFO (no AFE, full flight)
After several flights heavily assisted by the virtual Flight Engineer, I decided to try a full online flight while managing all the systems manually. This is an unedited recording of how it went. It felt a bit overwhelming, with sweaty palms and heart rate through the roof on departure and approach,...

Re: Help with REP and Xsaitekpanels
Turner, I had the same issue with my Saitek radio panel when I moved from FSX to X-Plane (Windows 10 64-bit). The solution for me was: uninstall any custom Saitek drivers and software (the stuff that you download form their own website: it's all outdated and buggy and there's no need for it, the def...
