I know my A2A Cessna 182 has to have the elevator trim set a little down of T/O or it will go vertical on me after takeoff.
Also check your weight and balances. A little tail heavy will do that.

I would recommend the MilViz C310. Good trainer. I don't think the RealAir Turbine Duke captures the engine dynamics properly, and is not well-suited for ME training, but it is VERY fun to fly in the sim. I have not flown the RealAir piston engine BE60. But from the looks of it, a lot of the re-do ...

Re: Best (sim) Multi-Engine Plane for FSX
Have you looked at what A2A has to offer?
They have a nice selection of planes for FSX and are a lot more realistic than any of the others IMO.

Re: I did it!
Congrats!
I know exactly what you mean about the heights thing. I too am deathly afraid of heights, to the point of my legs get queezy when I see something on tv even, but sitting in that 172 I felt quite safe.

Re: CTAF Announcement for Midfield Entries
Hey Nik. Welcome!
I'm no expert but my best guess would be cross over the field perpendicular to the runway, above pattern alt, do a right teardrop into the downwind while dropping to altitude.
Just one old dude's opinion.

I got all mine from http://www.blueskyscenery.com/
slight misalignment at some airports but I just ignore it. If you're not feeling the bumps under your seat then it IS just simulated.

Part 2. The biggest problem i see there was you said you saw the danger and then requested vectors. You are aloud to do what ever you need to do ... Dave This might come off the wrong way but we are all here to learn, even if it is other than aviation ... Although 'aloud' is a word, the proper spel...
