Ive done preflights in yuma that were so hot that by the time you were done you had no interest in climbing into the steaming cockpit.

That's a bummer. I build custom maps for at least 2 of those airports. Not sure about KRAL, might have but not sure. WJF had some great spawn points and was good to fly to Mojave Spaceport from.

You can download XP8 & 9 aircraft from x-plane.org, and use the tool in Builder to bring them up to current format. Sometimes you have to do a little work on the panel, but most aircraft convert to the new format. So you can really go shopping. I have planes in my livery from 8.5. The aerodynami...
